Terms of Use
1. Agreement
By downloading or using the Camely app ("Camely"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Camely.
2. What Camely is — and is not
Camely is a personal finance and life-planning tool that runs on your device. Camely is not a bank, e-wallet, money-transfer, or payment service. Camely does not hold, send, transfer, or remit money. Remittance features let you record transfers you make elsewhere; they do not move funds and do not guarantee any provider's fees or exchange rate. Any rates or figures shown as examples are illustrative only.
Camely does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Amounts such as "Safe to Spend" are informational estimates that account for the bills, planned remittances, savings, and buffers you have entered — they are not guarantees. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and for verifying figures that matter to you.
3. Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Camely for your own personal use, subject to these Terms and the app store's terms.
4. Your responsibilities
- Accuracy: the usefulness of Camely depends on the information you enter; you are responsible for its accuracy.
- Your device and access: you are responsible for safeguarding your device, your screen lock/App Lock, and your data.
- Backups: you are responsible for creating and safely storing your own backups and backup passphrase. Because backups are encrypted with a passphrase only you hold, we cannot recover a lost passphrase or restore data you have lost, overwritten, or deleted.
- Smart Capture: the receipt-reading assist runs on your device and may misread values; you must review and confirm every entry before it is recorded, and you are responsible for what you save.
5. Subscriptions and payments (if offered)
Any paid Premium subscription is offered through Google Play, and purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Your payment information is handled by Google and is not provided to Camely. Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, price display, and taxes are governed by Google Play's terms, and you manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account. Prices and availability may vary by region. To confirm your Premium status, Camely stores only minimal entitlement metadata on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Camely, attempt to circumvent its security or licensing, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it unlawfully.
7. Intellectual property
Camely, "Cami," and the Camely name, logos, and artwork are owned by SakaynaTech IT Solutions OPC and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
8. Disclaimers
Camely is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any warranty of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that estimates or readings are error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, savings, or financial outcomes, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Camely. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Camely will not exceed the amount you paid for Camely or Camely Premium during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Changes
We may update Camely and these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by an updated Effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app or website notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Termination
You may stop using Camely at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end the license if you materially breach these Terms.
12. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer law, disputes shall be submitted to the proper courts of General Santos City, Philippines.
